Gilbert Funeral Home did a most amazing, professional job for our son's funeral, service. Our son passed away in Huntington Beach, CA. We wanted to bring him back to our family burial area at Maple Hill in Sesser. They did an amazing job of coordinating the transfer from California back to our home town area.... We did not have to worry, be concerned about anything.... they outlined each step, everything followed the plan. Our parents were also taken care of by Gilbert Funeral Home. I should have wrote this over 2 years ago. I can not begin to THANK Steve and everyone at Gilbert's Funeral Home for everything they did when our brother Mike Furlow was killed in Atlanta. Steve went way above duty for our family. He kept us posted on everything that was going on with bringing Mike home. He was very supportive during our time of need. When Mom passed away, Randy and Steve both made us feel comfortable with everything going on. They have always been wonderful and supportive.
